It finally snowed! The boys headed out about 9:00pm to get started on a snowman. What began in the backyard soon made its way to the front yard, but not without Dad's help because the snowball was SO huge and HEAVY! It actually left a dentded path in the soft ground until spring when the grass grew back because it was so heavy.
They ended up needing a ladder to reach the snowman's head and face to put the rocks and carrots on the face/head. That's how tall this beastly man of snow was!
The following night as long as there was snow on the ground Kellen and Kai wanted to try sleeping out in it. Dad had recently gotten some military grade all weather sleeping bags, so they gave them a try.
