Emily is the only one who took ski lessons this year.
Noone else really needs them, and Kai and Kellen aren't interested in continuing snowboarding.

The snow this year in January was very basic; not much on the hills. In fact, there was so little snow that they had to postpone the lessons by a week until there a was a little more on the hill, and even then it was pretty thin and brown. But we made the best of the situation.
Kellen and Mom enjoyed this hill the first day while Emily was in class, but after that there just wasn't enough snow to make it worth it to ski on thin, packed ice.
Emily got the Pink Chair!
This was the state of the slopes. It's usually all white- no brown showing
The parking lot should all be covered in snow and ice.

Sometimes the line to practice a skill was loooong...
The didn't ever open up the backside of the mountain at all because there just wasn't enough snow. All those rocks there? They should be covered with several feet of snow.

By the last day of ski lessons this is what they sloped looked like.
It was pretty rough on the skis with all the rocks and pebbles mixed in with the snow.
The parking lot was just a mud hole.
