Kellen and Kai joined the Evergreen Middle School Track Team again this year and had a great time!
They liked their coaches and loved reconnecting with their friends.
Kellen's events this year were: 100 meter dash, long jump, shot put, 200 meter dash
Kai's events this year were: 100 meter dash, long jump, shot put, javelin
We stayed for most of each of the meets because the 200 meter dash was always the 2nd to last event of the whole meet.

There was one meet that was so cold, windy, wet and miserable; all the kids were soaked through because of the rain and the spectators were miserable in the stands waiting for the meet to be over. It was so windy it broke our large umbrella!
We were all glad when that meet was over.

Kellen and Kai were not able to attend the end-of-season awards party because we were out of town that day (in Alaska), but Kellen did receive the 'MOST IMPROVED' award with 10 personal records that season. Wow!
