Sometimes your flip flops trip you up.
Right on the rough asphalt.
And you're so surprised about it that your hands don't quite make it out in time
before your face takes the full force of your fall.
But with proper care and love
It heals up nicely
and you can hardly tell it's there
after a week or two.
